All Go At The Choir

Now that their annual summer concert at St Editha’s Church is over and the very enjoyable concert tour of the Isle of Wight in August is a distant memory, the choir are readying themselves for another big occasion.

After many months of planning the choir has managed to organise a concert on 10th October with the renowned Morriston Male Choir based in the valleys of Wales. The choir sang at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff before the Wales versus France rugby international earlier in 2026 and will make an unforgettable evening of traditional powerful harmony and Welsh passion. A concert not to be missed. Tickets for the concert will be on sale in September.

Following that concert the choir will begin rehearsing for their traditional Christmas concert on Sunday 29th November at St Editha’s Church. That will be the final concert for Hilary Griffiths, the choir’s brilliant Musical Director who early in 2027 is escaping to live on the Isle of Man, the place of her birth.

The search is on for a new Musical Director to replace Hilary but without much success so far. Anyone interested in the post can contact the choir using the email “tamworthladieschoir@gmail.com”.
