Austrey Village Clock

A special Remembrance Sunday event will take place at 3pm on Sunday 8th November at St Nicholas Church, Austrey. The event is to mark the rededication of the village clock, Austrey's memorial to the men who sacrificed their lives in service during the two World Wars.

The afternoon will begin at 3pm with refreshments, and the opening of an exhibition telling the stories of the men of Austrey who served and made the ultimate sacrifice. The exhibition will give the community an opportunity to learn more about their lives and remember the individuals behind the names. Following the exhibition, a new dedication stone will be unveiled by former Councillor Marian Humphreys, recognising the clock's significance as a lasting village memorial.
