Sing Your Heart Out

Following their very successful concerts in 2025 to celebrate 35 years since their formation, Tamworth Ladies’ Choir are now preparing and rehearsing for a busy schedule in 2026.

On 21st March 2026 they are going to sing at a concert in Rugby with the Woodland Singers Ladies’ Choir. This choir joined us for an enjoyable concert at St Editha’s Church in May 2025. The very talented Hilary Griffiths is the Musical Director of both choirs so it should be an interesting evening.

The Choir’s annual summer concert is planned for Sunday 2nd August at St Editha’s Church Community Rooms.  As usual the audience will be treated to tea and cakes after the concert.

Following that the choir hit the road and head for the Isle of Wight from 17th to 21st August. Here they will be singing in at least one concert with a local choir.

Plans are at an early stage for a visit by the sixty strong Morriston RFC Male Voice Choir from Wales in October. Tamworth Ladies’ Choir have a close association with this choir and have been to several of their concerts. If it comes to fruition, it will be a wonderful concert. Details will be published nearer the time but it will be a concert not to be missed, Welsh men’s voices raising the roof of St Editha’s Church.
