Ashby Show, one of the region’s longest-running countryside events, celebrates its 110th show in 2026. First held on Saturday 3rd September 1904 at the Bath Grounds in Ashby de la Zouch, the event was originally created to promote the advancement of livestock breeding through friendly competition, while giving farmers the opportunity to socialise and trade breeding stock.
