This is a very special year as Middleton, near Tamworth, is proud to be holding its 100th Village Fete on Saturday, 11th July, on the Village Green and plans are underway to make it the best yet! Middleton’s first Fete was held in August 1925, and with a break due to Covid, the 100th fete is upon us in 2026. Back then it was fun for a gathering of villagers, raising funds for the church. Now it is still a fete but greatly enhanced, open to a wider audience and all proceeds
