35 Years in Harmony

Tamworth Ladies’ Choir are holding their 35th Anniversary concert at St Editha’s Community Rooms on Sunday 3^rd August 2025 commencing at 14.30.

The choir were unable to celebrate their 30th Anniversary due to Covid restrictions so here they are five years later and still going from strength to strength.

Margaret Locke who started the choir in 1990 has been invited to attend as has her successor, Gail Brindley. Hopefully both will be able to attend and enjoy the concert.

As a salute to Margaret and Gail the choir will sing a selection of songs that were in their repertoire when they were Musical Directors.

Current Musical Director, Hilary Griffiths, will be under pressure to show how the choir has continued with providing high quality singing with a selection of songs from the current repertoire.

As always talented members of the choir will be performing individually with comical stories and topical poems.

Past members of the choir will be most welcome to attend and meet up with old friends.

As is usual for choir concerts the audience will be treated to tea and cakes at the end of the concert.
