A New Year, A New Look

Tamworth & Lichfield RNLI Fundraising Branch has announced a refreshed committee and new evening meeting schedule following a highly successful 2025 fundraising year.

Throughout 2025, volunteers represented the RNLI at major local events including Lichfield Bower Festival,  Fuse Festival, Statfold Railway, Alrewas Show, Huddlesford Heritage Gathering and Chasewater Railway Charity Day, with additional street and supermarket collections.  This all helped raise over £6,500 for the charity’s lifesaving work.

With a target of around £8,000 in 2026, the branch is encouraging new volunteers to join. Opportunities are flexible, ranging from occasional one-hour collections to support at key events.

With a full and active committee now in place, the introduction of evening meetings aims to make participation easier for those with work or daytime commitments.
