An Early Christmas Treat

Following the great success of their concert with Shifnal and District Male Voice Choir at Polesworth Abbey on Saturday 11th October, the ladies of Tamworth Ladies’ Choir are now starting the build up to their annual Christmas Concert. This will be held at St Editha’s Church Community Rooms in College Lane, Tamworth, B79 7LP commencing at 14.30 on Sunday 7th December.

The concert will celebrate the end of the choir’s 35 year Anniversary in a very fitting way. Earl Shilton Bell Ringers will be joining the choir again this year to add a real Christmas feel to the occasion. Individual talented choir members will as usual provide a variety of pieces to add variety to what is always a very entertaining concert.

The choir’s enthusiastic Musical Director, Hilary Griffiths, is working on providing a programme of songs, some old and some new that will delight the audience. Knowing Hilary some audience participation will no doubt be required at times!!!

After the concert seasonal refreshments will be provided to send people home with a rosy glow for their build up to Christmas.
