Enjoy a little fun and May the 4t be with you!
Every year on May the 4th, millions of fans across the galaxy, sorry, across the planet, come together to celebrate Star Wars Day. The date was chosen for a simple yet brilliant reason: the pun "May the 4th be with you," a playful twist on the iconic Jedi blessing, "May the Force be with you."

The origins of the celebration date back to 1979, when Margaret Thatcher won the UK general election. Her party took out a newspaper advert that read, "May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie.
Congratulations." However, the first organised fan celebrations didn't emerge until 2011, when the Toronto Underground Cinema hosted the inaugural official Star Wars Day event.
Today, May the 4th has become a global phenomenon. Fans mark the occasion by hosting movie marathons, dressing as their favourite characters, building elaborate Lego Star Wars sets, and sharing memes online. Social media explodes with lightsaber battles, droids, and Wookiee-themed puns. Many charities also use the day to host fundraising events, blending fandom with goodwill.
Whether you're a Jedi Knight, a Sith Lord, or just a scruffy-looking nerf herder, May 4th offers a chance to celebrate a saga that has inspired generations. So grab your lightsaber, fire up the Millennium Falcon, and remember: the Force will always be with you.
