Local vets win big at prestigious awards!

Local Tamworth practice, Bright Side Vets has been recognised at the BestUKVets Awards 2026, taking home Best in County for Staffordshire

The award places Bright Side Vets among the veterinary teams most highly praised by their own clients, recognising the care, compassion and service they provide every day.

The award was presented on Thursday 18th June at Thames Rowing Club in Putney, during a warm and joyful celebration that brought together veterinary teams from across the UK and Ireland. The positive atmosphere gave teams the chance to celebrate their achievements, share stories and recognise the care provided by colleagues throughout the profession.

Unlike awards decided by a judging panel, the results are based on the experiences of pet owners and provide a direct reflection of the trust they place in their veterinary practice.

Bright Side Vets is proudly independent and family owned. After a decade of serving South Derbyshire, they opened a second, state-of-the-art practice in Tamworth in 2024, bringing modern facilities and high standard of care to even more pet owners. They provide a full spectrum of first-opinion veterinary care, alongside advanced procedures including dentistry, ophthalmology and internal medicine, all delivered in a welcoming, client and patient friendly environment.
